Just as well you don't have 50 pages on an outbreak of Hair Algea. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Time for a little update and a few better pictures.

FTS

First few corals added growing in nicely. This color is fairly accurate. The tank lighting is pretty blue/purple these days.

Looks great. Are your going to have any LPS? My personal opinion SPS only tanks are so static. Having some LPS with some movement makes a tank live. What is your current fish list.

BTW when are you going to get a film or what ever to block the view to the tank room. It is taking a lot away from the view.

Just purchase two fragspawns and a torch coral in the past 3 weeks to do just that. The hardest part is finding locations with flow low enough to accommodate lps. The flow is very strong almost everywhere. I had a couple really nice lps but the flow did them in.

I have a film to put up bur forgot before taking pictures this time. I never leave it on as it makes the tank look even more narrow.

Hey, Mr. expanded view, isn't that a frogspawn on the bottom left of the second picture? Rolling Eyes

Yeah you are correct I was looking at the FTS. I can see what Tom is saying concerning the flow, even in this protected location it is not looking happy.

Bubble algae is what it is. Not freaking out about small problems anymore. Got two emerald crabs, we'll see how it goes.

Some quick pictures of the Blue Hippo Tang before I head out. Just like ever other hippo I've kept, this thing eats like a pig. Enjoy!

I am trying to avoid fish that might eat tube worms as I have a proliferation of them in the tank which I really enjoy.
