The scopas is great. I haven't had one before and the color contrast of the speckling and fade from front to back are striking. I guess the iphone crops like that itself. No idea, it uploaded straight from my phone.
I have my top off all setup and running now through a deltec kalk stirrer that is controlled by the apex both to turnoff if the ph is too high and control the solenoid that allows flow to the stirrer. Also spent 3 hours fucking with my calcium reactor just to realize that the reason why nothing was working was because I setup incorrectly 3 years ago when I had never even see a reactor before. Huge pain in the ass, running perfectly now. I am feeding the reactor via a litermeter III that I had leftover from my 120g as I always have problems with consistent flow using a tap off a manifold.

That's how my kalk was set up. Had it on a LiterMeter but also pH controlled by the tank controller. It worked well.
I always thought scopas were a bit ugly, until I ended up with a yellow one by mistake. It turned out to be a very interesting fish, and then I got one like yours from an LFS because the markings were so nice. Kind of a purple hue to it. Yours looks very similar.

I didn't see it that way, a critism that is. I like the idea of copying nature, and Steve W did a bloody nice job if it. Just a bit hard with smaller tanks.

| Very strange that I am subscribed to your youtube channel but do not get any emails when you post. The tangs are doing well! They are still freaked out (white coloration) but very interested in eating and the other fish. All look like good specimens, BUT, no QT?!?! Naughty naughty!

| Very nice, you are really moving this along, good job. I think if you had to, and you dont add any corals for a month, you could hypo the whole tank if you needed. Really looking good in there.

Sure, if there is nothing else that would be affected why not? If the tank has ich it will have to be fish free 6 weeks anyway and there is no better place to do it with a school of tangs IMO.

Thanks. I know I'm taking a risk but its calculated, kind of. I don't have much going on in the tank get and think I could treat for any issues if they arise, if not simply remove the fish. The tank is big but its also open and easily accessible. I think I could catch any of the fish in there right now (no wrasses or anything small yet) by corning with a sheet of acrylic.
Now that I have more fish in the tank I will start taking more precautions. It will be a little while but the anthias are next on my list. I have the 40g breeder (frag tank) that I can allocate to quarantine or hospital tank.
I hope all goes well also. So far I'm impressed by the fish I've gotten from liveaquaria.

| They do a very good job. Buddy of mine just got royally boned by a less-than-reputable online dealer. They shipped his fish with NO insulation. They all eventually died, and he got no refund.
