You should sell your tank and get a cube.

I had to add alot of roof rafters to ours to keep the sheets from flapping in high winds, pretty common here. Hopefully you live in an area that doesnt get that kind of wind. I do love the whole structure though, you did a great job. |
Yeah we get pretty strong winds here but no problems so far. There will eventually be 2 sheets thick with an air gap between them.
Nah mate clear ridge cap

Another option for Steve but he would have to put up with a lifetime of nagging not really worth it in the long run

Christ, Alice Springs will still be hot this time of year glad I'm not there.
Shed's looking great mate. Looks like you've done a very good job on getting the building and roof sheeting square, well done

Cheers mate
They are trying to work out an easy way to plumb it, it all looked pretty easy theory wise but practically it is going to be a pain in the arse
Yeah about 3/4 finished it dips back down to the same level as the front (like a picnic table) the back section will hold live rock and my mature colonies the two front sections will hold frags.
The 2 smaller tanks are already racked up.

| tank looks great. Word of caution on the PVC rack: Bad things can happen if you don't fill and glue it.

| Yeah cheers J I was looking at leaving it open to water and smaller critters but after reading that it maybe a good idea to fill it with an inert epoxy of some kind.

If your worried about worms getting into the ends, I'd just buy some caps and plug it up that way. It's a good size rack. Are you going to fill in the back section to make it wider?
Good size tank for a DSB/Refugium. Obviously going to be a bastard to plumb, but I reckon it would be worth it in the end.
